Fathers To Be Offered Up To Six Months Paternity Leave

Postby DPA.Support » Wed Sep 23, 2009 8:29 am

Fathers could take up to six months paternity leave – three of them paid, under new Government plans to let parents share entitlements. The move, announced by the Government this week would allow mothers the option to return to work after six months, enabling fathers to stay at home instead for the remainder of the 12 months off allowed by law. The new measures are due to come into force from 2011.
