GDP MagazineFrom the beginning, the Association always had a newsletter, which reflected the views of the members. In 1958 the newsletter was re-launched as a magazine and the GDP is now a journal of considerable influence. There are six issues each year. In addition to the printed copy sent to each member, an additional 2,600 copies of each edition are requested and read electronically. Since September 2008, electronic editions of the GDP are released to non-members two months in arrears.

Writers
Are you a member of the dental profession, or a writer, or are you a cartoonist? Can you compile dental crosswords? Do you have a story or interesting angle on general practice? If so, you could write for The GDP! We welcome new authors with articles about general dental practice or related subjects. You will receive a warm welcome from the Editor. We buy on a first UK serial rights basis, fees on application.

We welcome letters. Please send them to GDP Letters, 61 Harley Street LONDON W1G 8QU. Publication of all letters is subject to our terms for submission of works to us (past and present), namely that, if your letter is used, all current and future rights that exist in your letter will be retained by you, and we and those authorised by us shall have the irrevocable, assignable right to exercise all such rights in any publication or service and in any current or future media worldwide. We may shorten or edit your letter for publication.
